VP of sneakers and men’s footwear at Versace, Salehe Bembury, has dropped another hint about his collaboration with New Balance, which the designer first teased in December 2019. As expected, Bembury will be working with New Balance directly.

The latest teaser (above) shows the throat of a New Balance shoe with Salehe Bembury branding on the lace loop. The unidentified sneaker is orange with bold, blue branding.

In December, Bembury posted a close-up shot of washed-out denim with the New Balance in motion logo and Bembury’s name underneath it (below).

At the time, the designer also shared snaps of himself on Instagram rocking a pair of PRJ 3.0s and hanging out with New Balance's head of collaborations, Joe Grondin, at the New Balance headquarters.

It’s hard to tell what New Balance and Bembury have planned from the designer’s cryptic posts but if his work for Versace, particularly on the Versace Squalo Hiker, is anything to go by, we’re expecting big things.
