Key Pieces: Asymmetric outerwear and tapered technical pants shine in this monochromatic, sportswear-inspired lifestyle collection. The duffel/tote bag is another standout.

Editor’s Notes: Nike's new collection sees the brand going in an almost unrecognizable direction. Titled "Every Stitch Considered," the capsule marries industry-leading sports science research with inimitable traditional craftsmanship.

“Our unique understanding of the body in motion, based in decades of scientific study, paired with dedicated old-world Italian craftsmanship, sets these garments apart as distinct, timeless articles” explained Kurt Parker, VP of Nike Apparel Design. In its latest offering, the brand's game-changing approach to data-informed pieces is matched by the timeless, versatile look of the garments themselves.

Every Stitch Considered is the latest expression of Nike's Design Exploration, which includes its ISPA (Improvise. Scavenge. Protect. Adapt.) and Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL)– subdivision acutely focused on innovation. This expansive, androgynous collection showcases Nike's mastery of body-motion study which are integrated into experimental new silhouettes.

It's part of a larger initiative to inspire athletes and help them innovate, working under the assumption that, "if you have a body, you are an athlete." Watch Samuel Ross discuss what's contained under the umbrella of Nike's Design Exploration, below.
