DIY Sambas? Thanks but adidas did this one.

With the "Lace and Pearls" Samba, adidas cuts down on the time it takes to customize your sneakers while also still giving off pure DIY energy. Basically, the brand is letting fans put their name down on this arts project without lifting a finger.

The "Lace and Pearls" Samba is far more than its name suggests. The shoe also comes with silky ribbons for shoelaces and gold charms, plus creamy leather and suede touches for an added luxe feel.

Even better, the crafty Samba sneaker is a long-tongue model. As if the model wasn't already extra enough, the brand has added a dramatically elongated tongue. But it's cool because it also brings that classic sporty flair to the girlcore design.

adidas' blinged-out Samba first appeared in 2025, right at the peak of the max-accessorizing wave. First, the craze came for luxury handbags with Labubus and other charms, and then the hottest sneakers.

The adidas Samba LT "Lace and Pearls" still hasn't received a proper release. But don't clutch your pearls just yet. With official imagery out, let's hope they'll finally drop sometime in 2026 on adidas' website.
