When the Nike Vomero Plus Baroque Brown dropped at the end of last year, it cemented the style credentials of the silhouette, effectively marking it as Nike’s most stylish running shoe.

Since then, nothing has changed, and with the announcement of the upcoming Nike Vomero Plus Black/Anthracite, we’re expecting the Vomero Plus to hit new heights of popularity.

The OG Vomero took a decisively angular tack, landing originally in 2006 but building momentum during the retro runner trend of the early 2020s.

Now, the Vomero Plus is here to rewrite the story with a smooth, fluid silhouette defined by a bulky, high-tech sole unit to remind us that however beautiful the shoe may be, at its core it’s a performance runner.

Since its release in August 2025, the Vomero Plus has had a big rollout, punctuated by a number of successful colorways.

The latest announcement, however, stands to be one of the best yet. Now murdered-out in the Black/Anthracite palette, the technical build of the design looks better and more versatile than ever... and a little like a HOKA.

Not complaining though! As a matter of fact, the only bothersome thing about Nike’s Vomero Plus Black/Anthracite is that it has yet to receive an official release date. Until then, it’ll definitely one worth bookmarking.
