And so Nike's clog chronicles continue with an all-new slip-on known as the Comfort Ride.

Nike's clog has also been called the "ReactX Rejuvenate," probably because it's made with the brand's ReactX foam, a new foam technology introduced in 2023 that promises "higher energy return and a lower carbon footprint than Nike React foam," per Nike.

But enough of the materials! Nike's Comfort Ride clog is quite hard to ignore with its futuristic design, including water-like ripples and breezy holes on the toe box. It's like a crossover between Crocs Echo clog and HOKA's Ora Recovery mules, but make it team Nike.

Nike's "Crocs" clog is expected to drop in some solid colorways, including black and icy blue. LeBron James debuted the latter colorway at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he helped lead the US men's basketball to the gold.

So, I guess that makes the Nike clogs also Olympian-approved. If that isn't a big enough selling point, I don't know what is.

With folks adding more clogs and slip-on to their rotations, Nike, which always tapped in with what's hot and what's not in sportswear, has naturally created its own Crocs-like efforts like the Jordan Roam and Aqua Swoosh clogs.

For Swoosh's slip-on craze era, Nike even resurrected previously underrated models like the Clogposite, a part clog, part Foamposite shoe from the early 2000s.

As far as the Nike Comfort Ride goes, the slip-on shoes are supposed to drop sometime during the spring season. It's perfect timing, really, with the breathable foam shoe bringing that fresh spring breeze to the toes.
