New year, new ruggedized Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.

Nike has returned with a fresh batch of toughened Air Force 1 Lows for 2026, this time equipped with grippy Vibram sole units (just the Vibram this go-around).

Last year, the sportswear giant blessed the streets with pairs featuring both GORE-TEX and Vibram, resulting in these extra-clean, extra-durable, waterproof versions. It was honestly like army tanks for your feet.

Let's be clear: the latest are still pretty rugged. In addition to its Vibram soles, the Nike Air Force 1s also feature a grid-patterned upper that looks like ripstop, a lightweight fabric known to withstand hardcore wear and tear.

Nike has served up technical buffets on its sneakers before, having wrapped classic Jordans in both GORE-TEX and ripstop previously. So, it wouldn't be surprising if these Air Force 1s followed in the same footsteps.

Either way, we're for another Vibram-backed treat this year.

The newest Vibram Air Force 1 sneakers are expected to drop on Nike's website this fall in three colorways, including "Pencil Point," "Summit White," and "Silt Red."
