Even when strapped up, Nike's ACG Mountain Fly Low GTX can't be tamed. After all, it was designed for the wild.

It also looks pretty wild (complimentary).

The Mountain Fly Low GTX is like HOKA's Ora Primo meets Nike ACG. The sneaker is essentially laceless, but it features this rugged strap which wraps around the shoe and gives it a cool, mega-outdoorsy look.

It essentially borrows the design concept from the original ACG Mountain Fly Low, and makes it more swaggy.

Moreover, the sneaker's uppers are stitched together with durable grid-print fabrics and classic mesh. Meanwhile, underfoot, the hiking-ready model offers a nice, thick sole featuring Nike's cushy React foam technology. And on the very bottom, there's extra-grippy soles ready to take on the crunchy trails and even mountain rocks.

Oh, and as the name implies, it features GORE-TEX materials, making the Nike ACG sneaker waterproof and incredibly breathable.

Surprisingly, Nike's Mountain Fly Low GTX sneaker has actually been M.I.A. for a couple of years now. And in its absence, Nike has since cooked up nice-looking ACG Mountain Fly 2 sneakers, including a quiet COMME des GARÇONS collaboration.

The sportswear brand also made a Jumpman version of the Mountain Fly sneaker, essentially, called the Jordan 1 Element Low A/T.

Now, after the official relaunch of ACG, Nike's getting back to the outdoor line's best products, starting with the relaunch of the Mountain Fly Low GTX.

Right now, this "Light Olive Green" colorway is up for grabs on Nike China's website for ¥1,299, which is around $190. Hopefully, these wild beauties will make their way to the states soon as well.
