Earlier this year, luxury men’s boutique Mohawk MAN gave a serious overhaul to its Los Angeles-based General Store. Aside from completely revamping the entire store concept (and creating a store-within-a-store), the retailer announced its intentions to debut its first-ever in-house brand SMOCK, which would house its base of operations out of Japan. Well now we are getting our first glimpse of these SMOCK pieces, in addition to a host of upcoming FW16 arrivals that will be heading to the store in the coming weeks in a new editorial shot and styled by the General Store’s Chief Kevin Carney.

Despite only displaying a few looks, this editorial is the embodiment of quality over quantity. Pieces like the bomber stitched with Japanese characters (a SMOCK item for sure) and the creamy beige fleece parka are true standouts. But items like the matching shirt and cap in a tropical pink floral display the store's more streetwear-flavored elements.

The editorial showcases a good deal of the brands that will be appearing with the store's FW16 arrivals. These include labels such as Lemaire, Common Projects, OAMC, Sasquatch Fabrix and Engineered Garments among others. And if the editorial is anything to go by, any combination of the above should suffice in a fresh look or five.

Stay tuned for the FW16 arrivals to appear on Mohawk MAN's online store. Or visit the shop's Los Angeles location.
