[UPDATE] July 12, 2018 12:40 p.m. EST Entertainment Weekly has shared additional photos (seen in the gallery above) from M. Night Shyamalan's anticipated new movie, Glass, starring James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, and Samuel L. Jackson. An initial trailer for the film premiered at this year’s CinemaCon, showcasing characters Dunn, Price, and Crumb, all meeting with a psychiatrist.

“She deals with people that think they’re comic-book characters,” Shyamalan said in reference to the doctor portrayed by Sarah Paulson. “It’s kind of the modern-day equivalent of ‘I think I’m Jesus’ or ‘I’m an emperor.’”

Director M. Night Shyamalan returned to the big screen last year with box office hit Split, and last April, the famed director announced a forthcoming Unbreakable and Split sequel with Glass for 2019.

On Friday, Shyamalan released the first teaser poster for the upcoming thriller, uniting the main characters of the aforementioned films.

David Dunn (Bruce Willis), Mr. Glass (Samuel L. Jackson), and Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast (James McAvoy) are depicted side by side, with their signature persona also highlighted, along with what might be their current state in the upcoming film, hinting that David Dunn appears to be incarcerated, Mr. Glass is institutionalized, and The Beast is roaming free, or somewhere in between.

Shyamalan also announced that Glass will have a special panel featuring the cast at San Diego Comic-Con 2018 in July, where a teaser trailer is expected to premiere as well.

Glass is suggested to take place after the events of 2017's Split, with Dunn chasing after Kevin's superhuman figure The Beast. Glass is slated to hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
