Kanye West arrived in New York this weekend and treated the Jamaica, Queens community to their very own edition of Sunday Service. Taking place in The Greater Allan A.M.E Cathedral, West rolled up and delivered a passionate freestyle alongside a live choir and before the congregation.

West was channeling some serious 2004-era vibes during the epic freestyle, spitting numerous bars that proclaimed that he was now making "rap with a purpose." That statement echoes his recent reveal that he's stepping away from making secular music to concentrate on gospel.

It comes as little surprise that West's Sunday Services are occurring with increasing frequency, considering his shift to gospel and that his upcoming album Jesus is King will be stacked with biblical references when it eventually drops.
