Jonathan Anderson, founder of UK fashion label JW Anderson, has appointed Jenny Galimberti as the company's CEO. Galimberti, former communications and events director at Louis Vuitton, replaces Simon Whitehouse, who departed in November 2017 for personal reasons.

According to WWD, former Prada executive Stefano Cantino will replace Galimberti at Louis Vuitton. Louis Vuitton parent company LVMH took a 46 percent stake in JW Anderson in 2013, so this move keeps things within the family, so to speak.

Described by WWD as "an exuberant, decisive executive," Galimberti joined Louis Vuitton in 2015, where she assisted in the label's growth as a member of its executive committee. She was responsible for communications and brand development, which covered media relations, events, and the brand's digital operations.

Galimberti was among the executives who helped welcome Virgil Abloh into his role as Louis Vuitton's head of men's design.

Prior to working at Louis Vuitton, Galimberti was chief marketing officer at British luxury brand Alfred Dunhill and held senior positions in communications and brand development at Gucci, L'Oreal, Swarovski, and Prada before that.
