Junya Watanabe's Spring/Summer 2025 was not only a feast of Canadian tuxes but also a buffet of collaborations (again). Oakley was one of the few names on Junya Watanabe's latest menu, and the two delivered a pretty impressive dad shoe for next season.

Junya Watanbe's entire shoe lineup has the sneakerheads drooling at the moment. And based on reactions to the Oakley shoes, there's even more extra excitement for the collaborative dad shoe.

Underneath classic tonal black and white colorways, the Junya Watanabe x Oakley Factory Team sneakers boast wonderfully beefy dad-worthy shapes, capped with a chunky heel and wide tongue.

The coolest part is the Oakley sneaker's upper, upholding Factory Team's DNA for futuristic design with clever locked-in-style detailing.

Last season, Junya Watanabe blessed the streets with a rather luxe take on the Flesh slip-on, one of the many imposing models from Oakley Factory Team.

A quick brush-up here for the uninitiated: Oakley Factory Team is Oakley's dedicated footwear line focused on experimental styles. Regarding leadership, streetwear brand Brain Dead handles the designs, while Oakley powers the project.

The success of Oakley's Factory Team shoes is a testament to its innovative approach. The Flesh sandals, Chop Saw Mule, and Paguro Mules are just a few examples of their futuristic and cool-looking designs. It's no wonder Oakley refers to them as "future-proof footwear for next-generation humans."

Time to add Junya Watanabe's nice father-esque shoe to the roster.
