When I hear the word "hybrid" in sneaker conversations these days, my mind often goes to the wildest mashups like "snloafers" (sneakers + loafers) or sneaker-mules. The Air Jordan 2/3 is one of the least wild Frankenstein sneakers. Really, the Jordan hybrid isn't wild at all. It's one of the cleanest fusions I've seen in a minute, joined by immaculate color combinations.

The Air Jordan 2/3 era is already off to a beautiful start, debuting in 2024 with several rotation-ready drops. And the 2025 releases are even better, from dainty "Washed Coral" iterations to those Mocha-flavored pairs.

The latest Air Jordan 2/3 appears in an ultra-classic "White/Fire Red/Cement Grey/Sail" colorway, borrowing inspiration from the the Air Jordan 3 "White Cement." The timeless "White Cement" color scheme, which has also graced the Air Jordan 4, follows a primarily clean white design with grey and red hints.

It's a perfect match for the Jordan 2/3, which typically appears in these effortless white-based schemes.

Of course, the "White Cement" makeup tops the Jordan 2/3's incredibly sleek build, which marries the best of two Jordans. Expect those textured leather uppers plucked from the luxe Jordan 2 and the cushioned Air soles from the iconic Jordan 3 (an iconic Jordan 3 colorway for the cherry on top, too).

Nike's Air Jordan 2/3 "White Cement" sneakers are now available at retailers like Snipes and DTLR for the hybrid model's usual $160 retail price.

I'll let the "White Cement" 2/3s have their moment for now. But hey, Nike, how about those "UNC to Chicago" pairs next?
