Earlier this week French designer Jean Paul Gaultier showcased his SS20 haute couture collection in Paris, an event that marked the designer's finale after 50 years in the business. Ever since, fans and peers alike have taken to Twitter to celebrate and remember iconic moments throughout his career.

Gaultier's final show took place in Paris' Théâtre du Châtelet and saw Boy George performing Culture Club's song "Church of the Poison Mind." There was an orchestra, an Irish dance performance by model Coco Rocha, and a head-turning scene featuring a coffin shaped like the cone bra he designed for Madonna in 1990.

Bella Hadid, Irina Shayk, and Jourdan Dunn, walked alongside ’80s and ’90s supermodels like Estelle Lefebure, Khelfa, and Karen Elson. The whole thing was a moment, to put it lightly, and Twitter has come out in celebration.

Check out how fans and celebs paid tribute to Jean Paul Gaultier's legacy below.
