Double Tap to Zoom

At seven (and a half) years old, Blue Ivy Carter is already making history. The daughter of Beyoncé and JAY-Z just made her debut on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 76 with "Brown Skin Girl" from her mother's just-released soundtrack album The Lion King: The Gift. Her guest spot on the track makes her the youngest person to hit the Hot 100.

The song is performed by SAINt JHN, Wizkid, and Queen Bey, but Blue's adorable verse stands out. "Brown skin girl / Your skin just like pearls / The best thing in the world / I never trade you for anybody else, singin'" she croons in the opening.

Born into music royalty, Blue has been easing herself into superstardom. She made a cameo on Beyoncé's 2013 song "Blue" and also spat some bars on father JAY's "Blue's Freestyle/We Family" from his 2017 album 4:44. Recently, she starred in Bey's videos for "Spirit" and "Bigger". Can't wait to see what she does next!
