As the proverbial curtain came down on Virgil Abloh's highly anticipated (and highly emotional) Louis Vuitton debut, Highsnobiety took to the streets of Paris to discover what streetwear insiders made of the collection.

Our host Noah Thomas spoke to founders, directors, and buyers from Totokaelo, Need Supply Co., and Grailed, who all left the show with the feeling that a fresh page had just been written in the book of fashion history. While of course there were comments about the show's scale and design quality, the biggest impact was probably in terms of diversity. With a heritage house putting on such a multicultural event — from Abloh helming the brand, to the runway, the crowd, and live band BADBADNOTGOOD playing Kanye West instrumentals — the show marked a shift in fashion industry mentality.

Peep the interviews in the video above and let us know what you thought of Abloh's Louis Vuitton debut in the comments below.
