Making moccasin-style skate shoes? Vans does it with ease.

The brand's latest effort is even named the Premium Authentic Ease. And it arrives as this extra-minimalist take on the brand's first-ever model, featuring raw, velvety uppers.

But these are no ordinary suede Vans shoes, of course. These particular Authentics feature a single-piece material that is folded to form the tongue and wing and held together by the shoelaces.

The refined look ultimately transforms the classic Authentic into this luxe, moccasin-style skate shoe.

It wouldn't be the first moc-flavored skate model from the skateboarding brand, either. Vans has also released Half Cab sneakers and super-high-end versions of the Era stitched together like classic moccasins.

Let's also not forget the Carver shoe, which was like "Vans meets the Clarks Wallabee" mashup.

But for those interested in the elegantly crumpled Authentics, they're now available on Billy's website in black and off-white colorways for ¥12,650, around $82. Really, that's a steal for an ease-y skate shoe.
