After confirming earlier this year that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would definitely be coming to the Switch, Nintendo has finally dropped the game trailer. Check out the clip above, although sadly we're yet to see any gameplay footage.

The new version of the much-loved battle game is out on December 7 and will see at least 70 gaming world icons such as Mario, Link, Mega Man, Zelda, and Pikachu gear up for the ultimate brawl. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate features more than 100 stages, with each containing battlefield and final destination versions, and even more Pokémon and assist trophies than in previous versions.

Despite only being available for preorder, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is already the bestselling game of 2018 on Amazon.

Have you preordered your copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate yet? Let us know in the comments.

In other news, fans say this $1,100 Idris Elba doll is definitely not worth it and definitely not Idris Elba.
