Double Tap to Zoom

Pusha-T and Jadakiss’ collaborative track “Hunting Season” was removed from Tidal, confusing a lot of fans. Now the GOOD Music president has responded to questions from fans in an Instagram post, claiming he had done so out of respect for Pop Smoke.

King Push wrote, “'Hunting Season' was a request that IcePick Jay (RIP) always had and in light of his death, me and Kiss made an incredible song. With that being said, the whole concept of 'Hunting Season' and the hypothetical ideas of 'killing rappers' isn't sitting well with me while mourning the death of Pop Smoke. Rest in Peace POP and condolences to his family.”

“Hunting Season” includes lyrics such as “You better have your shotgun loaded” and “When I think of all these rappers, it's hunting season.”

Pop Smoke was tragically murdered on February 19.
