Double Tap to Zoom

After collaborating for the Nirvana tribute concert, Post Malone and Travis Barker are set to work on new music together. Barker revealed the news in a recent interview with Spin, disclosing that the two musicians have plans to come together for some songwriting sessions.

“I’m going up to Salt Lake to just write for a week with him. Just jam and have fun,” he said, before adding that “whatever happens, happens,” in reference to their time together.

Elsewhere in the interview, the Blink-182 drummer dished on being a part of Posty's Nirvana tribute concert.

“I went up there the day before and we went through the set one time," he stated. "Then the next day we went through the set one time and we just played it. You can’t over-rehearse Nirvana songs or it loses its vibe.” Barker went on to add that “the whole vibe over there has been very relaxed.”

For the concert, Post Malone and Barker teamed up to perform a set of Nirvana covers, with Barker serving as a part of Post's live band. Going forward, we'll have to wait and see what — if anything — materializes from the artists' impending songwriting session(s).
