Patta has teamed up with Outsiderwear on a capsule collection that comprises two graphic T-shirts. Outsiderwear is an initiative based in The Netherlands that connects “outsider” artists with fashion designers, streetwear brands, and artists in an effort to give them a bigger platform to share their work.

The artists that Outsiderwear works to promote have mental or physical disabilities, a psychological vulnerability, or come from a homeless background, meaning the project goes beyond giving up-and-coming designers a start in the industry. The initiative is the epitome of inclusivity and trying to give everyone an equal chance at harnessing their talent.

For this collaboration, Patta has teamed up with two artists — Desmond Tjon A Koy and Regilio Benjamin — to create two graphic tees that showcase the artists’ work. Desmond’s piece is inspired by Compton’s MC Eiht, who starred in the 1993 drama Menace II Society. The artwork comprises an all-over panel print of the MC on the streets of Compton. The original artwork is a pen and ink drawing. The second piece, created by Benjamin, is a Patta Script logo T-Shirt featuring a large multicolor photo print on the back. The artwork is inspired by the music of Bob Marley and features the artist's name overlaid on top of the illustration.

Both shirts will be available at Patta’s London, Milan, and Amsterdam locations, as well as online and on the Patta app starting at 13:00 CEST on Friday November 5. Take a look at both shirts above.
