There’s no way around it: running is mental. Putting one foot in front of another for long distances is a surprisingly quick way to access hidden parts of your psyche, and Nike knows this better than anyone.

With a run of three shoes: a Pegasus Premium, a Vomero Plus, and a Zoom Alphafly 3, the Swoosh is digging into the psychological side of the world’s favorite exercise, even including an incense holder.

The first look at the "Running Is Mental" collection came in the form of the Pegasus Premium, but we’ve since been treated to glimpses of all three silhouettes, and the shared color palette is a real treat.

Outfitted in a super-clean Platinum, Silver, and Grey combination, the collection feels like a breath of fresh air and finding your zen (though it's not to be confused with this other mantra-driven Nike release).

While the uppers of all three designs feature bright, metallic hues, we’re particularly enamored with the sole units which are executed in a creamy off-white hue to notch up the levels in terms of lifestyle wearability.

The big question is which design will win out. While the Nike Zoom Alphafly 3, complete with its high-tech sole unit, is sure to be the toast of trendy running clubs the world over, the Pegasus Premium and Vomero Plus are the two main competitors for everyday usage.

Whichever takes the top spot, one thing’s for sure: Nike has proven yet again that sometimes the best colorways are the simplest, emphasizing the power of some of Nike’s best new silhouettes.
