Nike's OG dad shoe is back and making stealth moves.

Nike's Air Monarch IV sneaker reappears in the classic "Triple Black" colorway, getting the famous blackout treatment from the leather uppers to the mega-chunky soles infused with Nike's Air technology.

Even though we're in the midst of a flat sneaker takeover, Nike's OG dad shoe sneaker has quietly reentered the game to represent for the thick-soled sneaker crew.

The Monarch was first distorted by Martine Rose. Since then, Nike has ramped up general-release efforts, rolling out classic colorways as well as fresher options that turned out surprisingly clean.

Although it has been out-chunked by newer models like the Air Max Muse and those stacked Jordan 1s, the Air Monarch remains the grandaddy of all Nike dad shoes.

And it looks quite good in night mode.

By the way, the "Triple Black" sneakers are currently up for grabs on Nike's website for just $85, a steal on a potential gift for dad (wink wink).
