Don’t be fooled by the name. The new Nike Air Force 1 Linen is not the kind of airy, breathable, summer-ready drop that you might think it is.

Fitted with a beautifully textured suede upper, this pair takes a neutral tack in terms of color palette, gracefully setting the tone for the hairy, tactile upper to take the lead.

Confusingly, the ‘Linen’ nomenclature refers only to the soft, brown colorway. This earthy, organic hue being the default state of untreated linen.

And while being a calming and grounded color, it’s also one of the most versatile in the world. Whether you want to keep things toned down or you’re looking to dress it up with bold companions, the soft Linen hue will work with anything.

The 2026 Nike Air Force 1 Linen isn’t the first of its kind. It follows a long line of fan-favorite drops, most recently in 2024, which usually see the subtle neutral hue take a backseat to pastel pink accents.

This year, however, Nike has taken a new direction and we’re fully on board. Instead of designing the shoe around color, this pair focuses in on texture. Here, that's warm and fuzzy, opposite cooler-toned companion drops.

Although the Swoosh does differ slightly with a metallic finish, the shoe passes as a fully tonal design. Adding depth is the hairy suede fabric used for the upper which pulls the eye in without dominating an outfit.
