Got matcha? New Balance does. The undisputed king of dad shoes has found a new muse in an unlikely (but equally trendy) beverage.

The New Balance 992 sneaker in "Olivine" is a creamy, light-green dad shoe that looks like a tall glass of iced matcha.

This green goddess of a sneaker is part of New Balance's Made in U.S.A. collection and features various shades of green throughout the upper and midfoot. The only tonal disruptions come in the form of peachy detailing on the tongue, heel tab, and around the New Balance logo.

Dare I say, this 992 dad shoe is peachy keen?

Now there's nothing new under the sun, and New Balance’s bevy of beverage-inspired dad shoes aren’t exempt from this rule.

That is to say, this green tea-esque 992, available soon on the New Balance website for $200, is far from the first NB dad shoe to resemble a sweet, creamy bev. In fact, it's not even the first 992 to do so.

The "Calcium/Raw Cashew" 992 sneaker is basically a tall glass of cashew milk. Not even the sneaker world is immune to the allure of plant-based milks. Then there's the caramel-drizzled 992 sneaker that's sweeter than a grande frappuccino.

The moral, it seems, is that if you want to make a classic dad shoe irresistible — you need a tasty bev on the mood board.
