Last week, Chicago rapper Lucki dropped his latest mixtape Freewave 3. During the roll-out of the long-awaited project, he put out a music video for the opening track "Politics." The chilling visual was directed by LONEWOLF a.k.a. Zac Matias from Griffith, Indiana. Highsnobiety recently shot an exclusive interview with the creative to learn more about his background in the visual arts and how he went from being a college dropout to DIY videographer for artists like A$AP Ferg, Lil Yatchy, MadeinTYO, and Brent Faiyaz.

In addition to his original videos, LONEWOLF edited the Spotify video for Drake and French Montana's single “No Stylist." He is also credited for making the backdrop for Future’s performance of "31 Days" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Kimmel. His most popular piece of work to date comes from an edit of Lil Uzi Vert's unreleased AWGE DVD that racked up more than 2 million views before it was removed by the rapper's label.

LONEWOLF is also in the process of launching his own skate brand dubbed LONER. Almost all of the merch that he has dropped so far has sold out from jackets, hoodies, and T-shirts to socks and keychains. He also hopes to open his own store that will operate as the headquarters for his creative business.
