Double Tap to Zoom

As we mentioned a few weeks ago, London-based R&B singer Sam Smith was recruited by the producers of Spectre - the latest installment of the James Bond film franchise - to sing the latest Bond theme, titled "Writing's on the Wall." The track, which was co-written by Smith and regular collaborator Jimmy Napes, features a lush, string-laden cinematic production by house duo Disclosure and is glazed over by Smith's trademark soulful crooning. Now joining a fraternity of singers who all have the distinction of having sung the theme song for a Bond film - including the likes of Louis Armstrong, Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Madonna and Alicia Keys, to name of few - Sam Smith took to Twitter saying, “I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations.”
