Lacoste is releasing a new polo shirt, the "L.12.12 Polo Merci," which will see 100 percent of sales in the U.S. (excluding taxes) donated to the American Red Cross.

The French brand states the release is a way of saying thank you to nonprofits as well as its own volunteers who have been working tirelessly during the pandemic.

The limited-edition polo, made from cotton petit piqué, features an embroidered heart around the brand's iconic crocodile motif — a message of gratitude to its factory workers who produced over 200,000 masks throughout the crisis — and a mother-of-pearl button collar.
