Editor’s Notes: Dior's Fall/Winter 2019 collection was made in collaboration with US artist Raymond Pettibon, whose iconic works include Sonic Youth's Goo album cover and a variety of artwork for hardcore titans Black Flag. The campaign for the new collection was lensed by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel.

For FW19, artistic director Kim Jones looks back to the work of Christian Dior himself, reinterpreting the Dior founder's first vocation as a gallerist and art collector by introducing bold new prints. The tailoring, which borders on haute couture, with elegant draping and weaved silk wraps, is peppered with utilitarian elements in the shape of vests and side bags with buckles designed by Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM.
