BEAMS / Levi’s
1 / 5

BEAMS and Levi’s have announced their third collaborative collection. Dubbed “Super Wide,” the collection stretches some of Levi’s most iconic pieces — from the Type 1 trucker jacket to the classic button-fly straight leg jeans — into a baggier, more cozy fit.

It’s not just the shape of each of the pieces that is stretched. BEAMS and Levi’s have stretched the classic back patch beyond its original dimensions, pockets widened, and even button flies are given a similar treatment. Other details make it obvious that this is a collaboration, too, such as the co-branded red tab with a BEAMS’ version layered behind it, or the brand’s signature orange hue worked into the seams of the trucker and the jeans.

The denim in the collection arrives vintage-inspired faded wash, further adding to the retro vibes the wide fits project. Levi’s shared a cute teaser video in the run up to the collection’s release, which will follow on January 6. Watch the video below.

The campaign imagery, which you see above, leans into the vintage aesthetic even more and gives an idea as to how the BEAMS team envisioned this collection being styled. The collection will be available at select retailers worldwide starting today, January 6.
