Say what you want about Nike's Air Jordan 4 RM sneaker and its playful skate shoe-like appearance. But the Nigel Sylvester-approved AJ4 RM has gotten some seriously good colorways in its debut year. And Nike's all-new "Chrome" Jordan 4 RM just might be the sleek shoe's slickest version yet.

The Jordan 4 RM "Chrome" sees the debated sneaker go all Silver Surfer on us. Shiny silver-coated overlays wrap the chunky, skate-ready design, resembling sneakers fit for the Marvel comic book villain.

A crisp, snow-like white color blankets the rest of the latest and possibly greatest Jordan 4 RM shoe, joined by a minty green translucent outsole for a somewhat icy feel that suits the slick upper.

It may not be as nearly chromed-out as J Balvin's bespoke silver-bathed Jordan 4s, which many thought would be his next great Jordan collaboration, but the "Chrome" Jordan 4 RM is an objectively ice-cold sneaker nonetheless.

There have been other chilling (in a good way) Jordan 4 RMs, like those glittery, wintery pairs and the "Diffused Blue" iterations that were too cold for words (again, a good thing) though most lean towards the simple and clean side of things, colorway-wise.

On the warmer, more fire side of the Jordan 4 RM options, Nike's dished out delicious Mocha-flavored "Earth" RMs and a classic "Bred" version. By the way, both excellent colorways are now finally available on Nike's website for a fairly reasonable $150 apiece.

But for the RM hive looking to add "Chrome" to their rotations, the particular Jordan 4 RM sneaker is expected to drop some time in 2025, likely alongside a handful of other excellent colors.

For some reason, the RM just wears these wild makeups better than the similarly skate-y Jordan Flight Court shoe. Or so it goes for now, at least.
