By the end of this very month, Nike is reintroducing the Air Jordan 1 Low's "Medium Olive" colorway for the first time since it made a slightly altered, darkened appearance as part of Travis Scott's reverse-Swoosh collaboration.

Redone in the low-top AJ1s' most classic form, the sneaker dons a pearly "Summit White" leather base, atop of which sit earthy green panels of suede.

Its black laces and logo add an extra portion of contrast, for a tri-shade clash of rich pigment.

Despite the bold composition of hues, this is a far cry from the maximalism we've recently encountered with fellow AJ1 releases, namely the new and bizarre platform style.

Generally, when compared to some of Nike's latest rollouts, the "Medium Olive/Summit White" Air Jordan 1 Low protrudes as a wonderfully simplistic, welcomely nostalgic drop, throwing it back to times long before ACG's buckled hiking sneakers or Paisley-indented Air Force 1s.

Not that we'd ever gotten in a fight with Nike, over the aforementioned or other launches. Quite the contrary, actually...
